Teen Leadership Programs

LEADERS IN TRAINING PROGRAM

A first step into leadership for campers that are entering 7º–8º Básico.

Leaders in Training (LITs) get to experience all the best parts of camp — the adventures, the laughter, the friendships — while also taking on new challenges that help them grow as leaders. Through special activities designed just for them, LITs build confidence, teamwork, and a sense of responsibility in a fun and supportive environment. They take part in outdoor adventures, creative projects, and group challenges that strengthen communication and problem-solving skills, all while staying connected to the excitement of camp life. The LIT program is the perfect bridge between being a camper and stepping into bigger roles — a chance to explore independence, discover personal strengths, and make a real impact within the camp community.

Dates: This program runs during all of our classic camp sessions during summer.

PRICE: CLP $490.000

 COUNSELOR IN TRAINING PROGRAM

For teens entering Iº–IIIº Medio, (grades 9,10 & 11) the The Camp Mákemáke CIT Leadership Adventure isn’t your typical counselor-in-training program — it’s an unforgettable experience for teens who want to challenge themselves, have fun, and build real connections in the great outdoors. Designed around leadership, teamwork, and self-discovery, this program combines the thrill of camp life with hands-on experiences that grow confidence and community. CITs dive into team-building challenges, water sports, hiking adventures, archery, arts and crafts, and even river tubing, all while learning what it means to lead with empathy and creativity. Days are filled with laughter, teamwork, and outdoor excitement; evenings bring campfires, reflection circles, and time to unwind and connect under the stars. It’s not about learning how to be a counselor — it’s about learning how to be a leader, a friend, and a changemaker. Unplugged from screens and surrounded by nature, teens from different schools come together to share epic adventures, creative projects, and the kind of memories that last a lifetime. By the end of the program, participants walk away with stronger leadership skills, lifelong friendships, and a renewed sense of confidence and purpose that extends far beyond summer.

Dates: There are two CIT camps: one in Session Three (Jan 16-21),  and one in Session Five (Jan 30 - Feb 4).

PRICE: CLP $490.000
